PRICING
Prices are calculated according to pattern condition (see below). Other elements are considered when it comes to the top level of pricing: scarcity, age, garment design and leaflet design.
PATTERN CONDITION
To point out the fairly obvious, the condition of the vintage patterns for sale on this site are not as new patterns – they have all been pre-owned and pre-used (and hopefully pre-loved). As such, I’ve classed them into three different types of condition :
Good = Hardly any creases, not much wear and tear (although there may be a few light marks)
Medium = There may be a couple of creases and some signs of wear, possibly a small tear (knitters tend to fold them in half vertically or horizontally, or both)
Fair = Quite a few creases and marks, may be cellotaped here and there (not by me), could be feeling ‘fragile’
Each pattern has a full description and will note where there are any flaws. The patterns are priced accordingly.

Colour may vary slightly from the photograph.
If you are not happy with your purchase & return in undamaged condition within 7 days of receipt I’ll refund your full purchase price excluding return postage.

POSTAGE & PACKING
Patterns are packaged with care and sent 2nd class Royal Mail, which keeps the costs down. However, if you require an item urgently, please contact me and let me know, the postage cost will increase by approximately 15-20p. I will combine costs for multiple items according to weight – again, please contact me for a full postage cost.
RETURNS
Please return in the condition in which it was sent with adequate protective packaging (ie hardback envelope), within 14 days for a full purchase price refund (not including return postage).
I pack exceptionally carefully & rarely get damages but please email immediately if you receive an item damaged in the post, & keep the packaging for Post Office proof.
LOST & DAMAGED ITEMS
Even though packages are sent via Royal Mail, on rare occasions we do experience losses whilst in transit. If this occurs please allow 10 days for the package to arrive from the date of despatch. If this time elapses and the products do not arrive, please contact me – I’ll be happy to assist in tracing your parcel. Please be aware that if you do not contact us within 30 days in relation to a lost package, an insurance claim cannot be made and thus you will be unable to claim any loss from Skiff Vintage Knitting Patterns and you will not be entitled to any refunds.
PAYMENT & PRIVACY
All payment is conducted through a PayPal payment gateway and as such is completely secure. Your details will not be kept on file and will not be shared with any other parties.
